Would You Give a Baby a Breast Milk Flavored Lollipop?

When you work in the candy industry, you’re used to hearing about all sorts of flavors, but this is certainly a new one for us. That’s right; one candy company has decided to introduce a breastmilk flavor into their line of lollipops. While this flavor may be familiar to babies, they’re unfortunately a little too young to be eating a hard candy like this. So for everyone else who wants to taste what babies do every day, this lollipop is for them.

According to the owner of the company, he was inspired to create the flavor because of seeing how much babies seem to enjoy it. He’s seen many of his friends’ babies screaming one second, and then becoming calm and happy seconds after tasting breast milk. If babies love the taste so much, he figured everyone else would too.

He also reasons that most people were fed on breast milk when they were babies, yet were too young to actually remember the flavor today. Now, with this lollipop, they have a chance to remember one of the first flavors they ever tasted.

While this flavor certainly seems like an odd choice for anything, let alone a lollipop, we’re not here to judge. We’re sure that someone out there is eager to try it, and who knows, it could end up becoming a hit flavor.

At CIMA Confections, we don’t have any breast milk flavored lollipops available, but we have plenty of other great flavors to choose from. Browse our website or give us a call today if you have any questions!
