Unique Versions of Lollipops from around the Country

If you walk down the candy aisle of your local supermarket every now and then, you may start thinking to yourself that these treats haven’t changed much throughout the years. There are the same old brands offering the same old flavors. But when you look further into the world of gourmet lollipops and other types of specialty candy, you soon realize that the options are endless. Today we’re going to take a look at yet another interesting type of lollipop, this time at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina.

This summer the speedway will be introducing their new candied-bacon lollipop. Unlike traditional lollipops, this is not a piece of candy that tastes like bacon. Instead, it is actual bacon that has been coated in syrup and brown sugar. To complete this treat, the bacon is placed on a long stick, turning it into a unique version of the lollipop.

We’re always on the lookout for unique versions of lollipops from around the country and the world. If you plan on visiting North Carolina this summer, do you think you’ll give one of these lollipops a try?
