Bacon Flavored Cotton Candy and Other Ballgame Snacks

Recently we let you know about breastmilk flavored gourmet lollipops, and now we’re here to tell you about another interesting flavor to enter the candy scene: bacon. However, we’re not just talking about lollipops this time. There’s such a thing as bacon cotton candy as well. And you can’t simply get this bacon flavored cotton candy anywhere. Right now this unique treat is being sold at Texas Rangers baseball games, in addition to many other tantalizing offerings.

The Rangers surely believe that bacon is too good to be confined to just one treat. They will be offering bacon flavored lollipops, sunflower seeds, and even beer. But they aren’t stopping there. This season they’ll be offering a number of other unique treats for the first time including fried Twinkies, chicken-fried corn on the cob, and even fried s’mOreos.

If you’re wondering what fried s’mOreos are, don’t worry, we’re here to break it down. They’ve combined the favorite campfire snack, the s’more, with the classic Oreo cookie. Of course, they didn’t just stop there because they decided to deep fry it too.

The days of going to a ballgame and grabbing a hotdog and maybe some peanuts are over. While those snacks are still available, teams across the country seem to be competing in more ways than one by outdoing each other with these extreme treats. The Texas Rangers seem to have a leg up on the competition, but we’ll be interested to see if these trends follow anywhere else in the country.
